The stout in this sauce is an Award Winning Certified Organic Stout called "The Backhand of God" made by Brian and Rebecca of Crannog Ales in Sorrento, BC. Stouts are great ingredients to cook with and this one has undertones of coffee and chocolate that I really like. This sauce would make roadkill taste good.
